Philanthropy
The Lonestar Retreat is proud to support St. Jude Children's Research Hospital as our charity of choice. For the last five years we have raised money each year that is then donated to St. Jude. To date we have raised almost $10,000.
Fundraising
We have many talented and generous friends of the retreat. The quilt on the right was made and donated by Evelyn Peacock. We raffled the quilt off in 2023 and it along with other fundraisers allowed us to donate over $1800 to St. Jude in 2023.
2024 Fundraiser
The quilt on the left made by attendee Lorie Vanderslice, a crocheted blanket made by committee member Michelle Dengel (not pictured), and our swear jar allowed us to raise $1100.
